Işוk Güner receives another gold medal

Işוk Güner received a gold medal at the BISCOT (Botanical Images Scotia) botanical art exhibition which took place at the Gardening Scotland Show at Ingliston, Edinburgh from 31st  May to 2nd June 2013. Işוk who exhibited eight of her paintings depicting Chilean plants from the forests of Chile also received the Mary Mendum Award which has been awarded for her outstanding work. This is the second time that Işוk has received this prestigious medal.  The BISCOT exhibition has been transferred to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh where it will be on show in the Gateway until the 20th June 2013. Işוk’s paintings will eventually form part of a high quality book featuring 80 newly commissioned, water colour paintings showing the remarkable diversity of plants associated with the woods and forests of Chile. The book is scheduled for publication in 2014/15.
